If we have enough people travel with children then we will coordinate a great outing for moms and kids one of the days. \nTucson is a wonderful place to be in March. Wildflowers begin sprouting throughout the Sonoran Desert\, which is a diverse ecosystem. Tucson is surrounded by mountain ranges in each of the cardinal directions\, the foremost being the Santa Catalina range which features Mt Lemmon (9171 ft elevation)\, considered a sky island for the diversity of ecosystems you drive through on the way to the top. Some things to consider including in your visit are: \nMt Lemmon \nThe Sonoran Desert Museum \nThe Pima Air and Space Museum \nColossal Cave \nTombstone\, Arizona (yes that one) \nOld Tucson (site of many Western films) \nThe Biosphere 2 \nTohono Chul Gardens (excellent date location with your wife for a meal and garden stroll) \nTucson is also a UNESCO designated city of gastronomy. It’s hard to explain why but we just have really\, really good food here. You can find amazing authentic cuisine from around the world\, but of course our Mexican food is world class and we can give you recommendations for good spots if you’re looking to get into some gastronomía de México. \nIf you choose to travel early\, we worship at 2:30 PM on Sundays followed by a full meal each week. We would be honored to have you visit and worship with us. \n
