SUMMARY:7:30 AM Easter Sunrise Service
DESCRIPTION:“Now on the first day of the week\, very early in the morning\, they\, and certain other women with them\, came to the tomb bringing the spices which they had prepared” (Luke 24:1). It was early in the morning at dawn when the women discovered that Jesus had risen from the dead. And so certain churches (especially in the American south) have developed a tradition of having a Sunrise Service in the morning before the regular Easter Resurrection service.\nAnd that’s what we at Trinity Church will be doing this year!  The choir has been working hard to prepare music\, and we will enjoy a time of singing\, Scripture reading\, and meditation on the early-morning events of Resurrection morning. If you would prefer not to stand the entire service\, which will last about 40 minutes\, you are welcome to come with a blanket or lawn chairs (or an umbrella!).
