We will be discussing “All But My Life” by Gerda Weissman Klein.
I came across this WWII Holocaust memoir in high school and the big theme that struck me was her ability to give thanks in truly horrible circumstances. It might be the right kind of book to discuss around Thanksgiving/Christmas.
